La recensione dell’opera “The Impossible Office? The History of The British Prime Minister” di Anthony Seldon si pone l’obiettivo di evidenziare l’evoluzione della figura del Primo Ministro del Regno Unito a causa di fattori metagiuridici quali avvenimenti storici e vicissitudini politiche. Dopo aver ricostruito le vicende relative ad alcuni tra i più rilevanti premier britannici, il contributo riflette sullo stimolo che il lavoro dell’Autore fornisce al dibattito sulla trasformazione delle forme di governo.

The review of “The Impossible Office? The History of The British Prime Minister” aims to highlight the evolution of Prime Minister of the United Kingdom due meta-legal reasons such as historical events and political vicissitudes. After reconstructing the events surrounding some of the most relevant British premier, the paper focuses on the input that Seldon’s work provides to the debate about transformation forms of governments.
